Negative Thinking & Mindfulness

Unhappiness is the result of negative feelings which come from negative thinking. This can then result in negative behaviour. For example someone in work does something to offend/upset you. You deal with it in that moment but later driving home you begin to replay the event in your head, what you should/shouldn’t have said/ what they should/shouldn’t have said or done……..At this point it is not the situation that is causing your upset, you are actually doing it to yourself with your own thoughts. Bad enough to have the upset once in the day, why keep doing it to yourself again with your own thoughts? Instead practice Mindfulness, bring yourself back into the present moment by using your five senses.
