Managing your thoughts

Your past and your future are only figments of your imagaination. The only moment that is real is right now. How you are experiencing and feeling today is as a result of the thoughts you are thinking today. To quote Shakespeare “There’s nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so”. If you find yourself ruminating over hurts from the past why not tell yourself  “Its bad enough that thing happened to me once, but I’m not going to do it to myself again through thinking about it today”. Remember, sometimes the only good thing about the past is that it’s over.
